During this uncertain and challenging time, we appreciate your support and we hope that you and your loved ones can get away soon for some rest and relaxation at Sugarberry Inn!
The safety and well-being of our guests and staff has always been of the highest priority and that commitment remains unchanged. The information regarding the novel coronavirus is constantly evolving, so we’ll continue to monitor the guidelines recommended by the CDC and make modifications to our operations as needed.
In an effort to limit contact between our guests and staff and to allow for social distancing we’ve made the following changes;
While we may be on the property to greet our guests (from a distance), the front desk has been temporarily closed. Guests will receive instructions for our self check-in procedure prior to arrival and are welcome to call or text us anytime with questions.
Rooms are still ready for check-in at 3:00pm; we’ll notify you via text if your room is available for an earlier arrival.
As always, each cottage is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after every stay, but we’ve also adopted additional measures and have increased the frequency of regular deep cleaning and disinfection of all common areas.
We’ve suspended daily housekeeping service. Our housekeepers will not enter your room during your stay. If you are staying with us for 3 or more days, you may request fresh towels and amenities via text after the second night and these supplies will be left outside your door.
Our housekeepers will now wait a minimum of 24 hours after the room is vacated before cleaning, so we’re asking our guests to follow a new self check-out procedure before departing. We reserve the right to move you to another cottage if necessary to protect the health of guests and staff.
Our common breakfast area is closed indefinitely. Many local restaurants are struggling and would truly appreciate your support.
For those guests who made a reservation prior to May 1st, 2020, we will provide a “Grab and Go” breakfast box in lieu of a continental breakfast. If we cannot provide a breakfast box due to limited staff or availability of groceries or other items, we’ll apply a small discount to your reservation.
It is the responsibility of each guest to practice the recommended CDC guidelines at all times during their stay.
Please remember to wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an approved hand-sanitizer when soap and water are unavailable.
Please observe physical distancing guidelines by staying 6 feet away others when using the outdoor common areas.
We want to ensure that we take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, so please be sure to notify us prior to your arrival if;
You have had exposure to Covid-19
You believe you may have been in contact with someone who was/is Covid positive
You have traveled to an area that the WHO or CDC considers a “hotspot” within the past 14 days
We look forward to welcoming you as our guests!
